Bincombe Beeches Nature Reserve
Crewkerne Town Council
I was commissioned by Crewkerne Town Council to design and illustrate a leaflet and interpretation board for Bincombe Beeches Nature Reserve, encouraging visitors to explore the rich biodiversity of the area.
Both designs feature a map of the reserve, a beloved woodland known for its trails, trees, and diverse wildlife, spot illustrations of the wooden sculpture trail, seasonal wildlife species and viewpoints.
The carved wooden sculptures dotted throughout the woodland include and acorn, woodpecker, owl, insect, snail, rabbit, hedgehog and bug hotel.

These spot illustrations are of the two main views from the Nature Reserve. These earlier, single-colour versions later become the final illustrations that feature on both designs.
