Story of Yeovil

I collaborated with Yeovil Art Space on the Story of Yeovil project, which brings to life the rich history and heritage of Yeovil through vibrant illustrations and community stories. This project explores the people and places that have shaped Yeovil, weaving together personal memories, historical insights and artefacts.

I created engaging, narrative-driven illustrations that capture the spirit of Yeovil, from its industrial roots to its evolving community landmarks. The project was broken into sections; View of Yeovil, Sound of Yeovil and Taste of Yeovil, Heritage Collections, Young People and Education.

Each piece aims to celebrate the unique character of Yeovil, inviting locals and visitors alike to connect with the town's past in a fresh and accessible way. Through this project, we hope to preserve and celebrate Yeovil’s stories, ensuring they continue to inspire for generations to come.

Each illustration was created to fit templates for print and digital marketing; posters, social media and published adverts. I designed an activity workbook as a educational resourse for school groups, to be used alongside exhibtions and events. In addition to this, I re-purposed some of the spot illustrations to be used as merchandise as a souviner for the project.
